You have developed a device and would like to have it completely assembled in small quantities or as series production? Then we are your competent partner for unit assembly in the EMS sector. We start with an installation workshop where we ask for all the relevant information about your project. From this we derive our processes, create assembly instructions, procure components, assemble, test and, if desired, deliver directly to your end customer. Everything from a single source. Find out here why outsourcing your unit assembly is worthwhile.
Unit assembly – What do we mean by that?
During unit assembly, we assemble prefabricated individual parts into a functional unit. We assemble and solder electronic components and check the finished product. We offer our device assembly for your prototype as well as for your series production in large quantities. As an additional service, we provide each unit with a serial number determined by you and, if applicable, with an instruction manual upon request. We are not tied to any one industry: Examples of our diverse projects in the field of device assembly include blood pressure measuring devices, plasma generators, roller shutter controls or animal identification devices.
Why outsourcing unit assembly makes sense
Many of our customers are small to medium-sized development companies that benefit from the advantages of our services. This is because in-house resources – space, staff, technical equipment – are often lacking to competently manufacture their own devices in series.
Our customers do not only win by outsourcing the unit assembly. All previous steps, such as SMT assembly, coating or special solutions, are part of our core business.
Before unit assembly: Our cooperation begins with an assembly workshop
At the beginning of our cooperation, we examine your project from all sides. For this, we invite you to an assembly workshop. Our experience has shown that this is the time to get important and usually costly challenges out of the way in advance. You tell and present us your ideas and we advise you with our many years of expertise as a series manufacturer:
- Which processes are most suitable?
- Which material should we use?
- How do we implement this concretely?
- What can we do for quality assurance?
- How do the logistics work?
Device assembly by A+B Electronic – Your advantages at a glance:
- You have space/production capacity for a new development.
- You save on personnel costs.
- You do not have to use any materials in advance and preserve your liquidity.
- You do not have to set up your own production.
- You don’t even have to take care of the shipping/logistics.
- So you save time and money.
During unit assembly: Trained staff and efficient process management
Even before we have the set of materials in stock, it is clear which work steps will take place in which order, what is practicable in the daily implementation and what is not. Our trained employees work according to your in-house production documents resulting from the workshop. After consultation, we first produce a smaller number of pieces in order to examine the first result and discuss it with you. After your approval, we start series production.
After unit assembly: Quality assurance and worldwide delivery
Your unit is assembled and ready for shipment. Before delivery, the end device goes through a short final inspection at our internal quality assurance department.
Upon request, we deliver to you or ship directly to your end customers. However, before it goes on its journey, we offer comprehensive logistics services, so-called value-added services: If you wish, we can assign serial numbers according to your specifications, pack professionally and in accordance with the product and provide operating instructions for each device. Everything from a single source.
